Evokiva is a coaching companion you reach entirely by text. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, how we use it, how it's protected, and how to delete all of it whenever you want.

The short version

We collect only what's needed to text with you and coach you well.
Your conversations are encrypted in transit and never sold.
We never use your conversations to train AI models — ours or anyone's.
You can erase everything at any time — just text ERASE.
Evokiva is coaching, not therapy or medical care.

01What we collect

We keep collection deliberately small. To coach you by text, we collect:

Your phone number — so we can text with you.
Your conversation — the messages you send and the replies we send back.
Delivery details — timestamps and message delivery status needed to send and receive texts reliably.
Anything you tell us by email — if you write to support, we keep your email address and the message.

We do not require your name, address, or a downloaded app. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is handled by a third-party payment processor — we never see or store your full card number.

02How we use it

To deliver your coaching — send and receive your texts, and tailor check-ins to what you've told us matters to you.
To operate, secure, and improve the service.
To respond when you contact support.
To meet legal obligations (for example, honoring STOP requests).

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it. Full stop.

03AI & your conversations

Evokiva uses AI models to help generate coaching responses. Your messages are processed by these models only to produce your replies in the moment.

Your conversations are never used to train or fine-tune AI models — not ours, and not our providers'. We contract with our AI providers so that content sent on your behalf is used solely to return a response and is not retained by them to improve their models.

04Texting, iMessage & SMS

Evokiva works over iMessage and SMS through a messaging provider that delivers texts on our behalf. A few things worth knowing:

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, HELP for help, or START to resume.
Your mobile carrier handles delivery of messages and is subject to its own privacy practices.
iMessages are encrypted between devices by Apple; standard SMS is not end-to-end encrypted by the carrier network.

05How we protect it

We encrypt your data in transit using TLS, store it on reputable cloud infrastructure, and limit access to the small number of people who need it to run and support Evokiva. We apply least-privilege access and review it regularly.

No system is ever perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security — but protecting your conversations is core to what we do, and we design for it from the start.

06Deleting your data

Everything you share with Evokiva is yours to erase — completely, whenever you want, without forms or phone trees.

Text ERASE

What happens when you erase

We permanently delete your conversation history, your coaching profile and notes, and the personal data tied to your phone number.
Your data is removed from our active systems right away, and purged from encrypted backups within 30 days as those backups cycle.
We'll send one final confirmation once it's done.

Other ways to delete

You can also email privacy@evokiva.com and ask us to erase your data. We'll verify the request is coming from you (usually by confirming your phone number) before we delete.

What we may keep, and why

After you erase, we retain only the minimum required by law — for example, a record that you texted STOP or ERASE so we don't message you again, and basic transaction records if you were on a paid plan. These are kept separate from your coaching data and only for as long as the law requires.

Erasing is permanent and can't be undone. If you come back later, you'll start a fresh conversation.

07How long we keep it

We keep your conversation only while you're an active member, so we can pick up where you left off. If your account is inactive for an extended period, we may delete your data automatically. You never have to wait for that — text ERASE and it's gone.

09Your rights & choices

Wherever you live, you can:

Access the information we hold about you.
Correct anything that's wrong.
Delete everything (text ERASE, or see section 06).
Export a copy of your conversation.
Opt out of messages anytime by replying STOP.

If you're in California (CCPA/CPRA) or the EU/UK (GDPR), you have these rights under those laws too, including the right to object to certain processing and to complain to your local data-protection authority. We will never discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right. To make a request, text us or email privacy@evokiva.com.

10Children's privacy

Evokiva is for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a minor has used Evokiva, contact us and we'll remove their data.

11Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top and post the new version here. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we'll let you know by text or another clear notice before it takes effect.
